I'm the director of technology for a hotel group in France, about fifteen properties. I've spent years building a tech stack where everything talks to everything else properly across all of them. When I look at new software, I open the API documentation before the marketing site. I want to know how deep the integrations actually go, not how many logos are on the partners page. Working for a group means I have the time and resources to test things properly, but also constraints: anything I recommend has to pass corporate approval and work at scale. I also care about how things look. An ugly interface isn't a cosmetic issue. It's a sign that nobody on the team cared enough to get the details right.
