Optii's route optimisation does something real, and I say that as someone who went in with a stopwatch expecting to be unimpressed. The reason to look elsewhere is usually the mobile app, and specifically Android. Four of my six room attendants use Android phones, and during the eight-week trial the app crashed at least twice a week for each of them, logged people out mid-shift, and left one attendant describing it as the app that forgets who I am. Support acknowledged it and said improvements were in development, which doesn't help someone writing room statuses on paper in a corridor. There's no notification sound for new task alerts either, so my head of housekeeping started sending WhatsApp messages alongside Optii tasks. If your team isn't on iPhones, weigh this heavily. If the Android experience is your problem, that's the first thing to test rather than the feature list: hand the app to the staff who will actually use it, on the phones they actually own. Sweeply was picked up by my colleague's team in twenty minutes, and RoomChecking is European with configurable workflows. Neither claims Optii's labour optimisation, which is the trade you'd be making.

Is there an Optii alternative that works well on Android?

Ask for a trial on your own team's devices and treat any answer that isn't a working app as a no. This is the single most practical test in the category, because a housekeeping tool lives or dies on the phone in a room attendant's pocket. A product that works beautifully on the head of housekeeping's iPhone and crashes on everyone else's Android is not working.

Is there a housekeeping tool that publishes its pricing?
