What each one costs
Amenitiz pricing
- Presence €42/month
- The PMS core, a booking engine and a basic template website. Aimed at a property coming off spreadsheets that has no online booking at all.
- Sales Pro €113/month
- Adds integrated payments, the channel manager and more automation. Realistically the minimum for any property connecting to OTAs, and the tier I tested. That's €1,356 a year.
- Ultimate+ €125/month
- Adds revenue management tools and additional reporting. €1,500 a year for a full year of PMS, channel manager, booking engine, payments and revenue management. I kept re-checking that figure.
Amenitiz publishes a full price grid, charges no commission on direct bookings at any tier, and quotes monthly. After Cloudbeds made me sit through a twenty-minute call to learn the price of the tier I needed, I want to give credit for that plainly. The comparison is stark: at my 80-room property a mid-market PMS like Mews starts around €3,600 a year, and Amenitiz tops out at €1,500. The price difference is not marginal. So the useful question is not whether it's cheap, it's what you don't get, and the honest answer is depth. Read the contract terms as carefully as the price grid.
Apaleo pricing
- Core platform Quote only
- Apaleo markets no setup fees, no licensing fees, no maintenance fees and no integration fees. All technically true, and none of it tells you what they do charge. The rate comes out of a sales call, which means the hotel down the street may well be paying something different for the same product.
- The rest of the stack Not included in that quote
- This is the part that matters with a headless PMS. You will also be paying for a front desk app, a channel manager connector, a housekeeping tool, payment processing, and in most cases an integrator to wire it together. Each has its own subscription and its own contract.
The pricing opacity bothers me more here than it would elsewhere, because this is a company that positions itself as open. The API is open, the documentation is open, the marketplace is open. The pricing is not. And the quoted figure is only half the picture: a colleague running three hotels in Austria told me his annual Apaleo spend, once he added the front desk app, the channel manager connector, a reporting tool and the integrator who set it all up, came in considerably higher than the number on his initial call. Budget for the ecosystem, not the platform. If your product is good, publish the price.
Prices as last verified during each review. Hotel software pricing moves, and per-room rates behave very differently at 20 rooms and at 200, so run the arithmetic at your own room count. Full detail on Amenitiz pricing and Apaleo pricing.

Amenitiz
A PMS that publishes its pricing, charges no commission, and starts at €42/month. I checked the maths. Then I checked whether you actually get a PMS for that.
-
Apaleo
A PMS with a public API, a developer sandbox, and no proprietary UI requirement. I opened the docs before the marketing page. For once, I wasn't disappointed.
