Thomas reviewed both and rated both a 6, which makes this the most directly comparable pair in the category. His clearest finding was about building on them: a CRM automation he wanted took three hours on Quicktext and failed, then worked on Runnr at the first attempt. Quicktext's PMS integration runs one way only, so data goes in and nothing comes back and guest profiles stay blind, while Runnr writes conversation summaries back into the profile.
Quicktext's case is commercial rather than technical. About 9% of its availability conversations ended in a direct booking on Thomas's tracking, it has reached roughly 1,800 hotels on barely $1M of funding, and Velma handles French and English comfortably. But WhatsApp feels like a website chatbot relocated into a messaging app, the Quinta rebrand has since completed, with quicktext.im redirecting to quinta.im, and the headline moved to $299 a month quoted in dollars. Runnr publishes from €100 plus per-conversation costs, but has no revenue attribution, no security certifications, and abandons email and SMS.

What each one costs
Quicktext pricing

- The only tier shown, priced on room count. Bundles eleven products under the new Q- naming, Q-Data, Q-Channel, Q-SEO, Q-Sales, Q-Task, Q-Connect, Q-Hub, Q-Automate, Q-Mail and Q-BI, alongside the fourth-generation Velma chatbot.
Two things moved at once. The rebrand Thomas described as half-finished is now complete: quicktext.im redirects permanently to quinta.im and the site brands itself Quinta throughout, so his complaint about both names circulating is out of date. And the headline price moved from roughly €250 a month to $299, quoted in dollars. For a Paris company selling mainly to European hotels that is worth noticing, because you now carry the exchange risk on a monthly subscription. The product names in our review no longer match the vendor's either.

- Charged on top of the platform fee and stated as an average across conversation volume and guest location. More useful for budgeting than the per-conversation framing we recorded.
Runnr.ai has gone further in the right direction since our review. The €100 monthly floor is unchanged, but where we recorded a single starting price there are now three named tiers with figures attached, an average WhatsApp cost of about €0.75 per room per month rather than a vague per-conversation note, and a thirty-day trial on annual plans with setup and support included. Billing is per unit, and Runnr counts rooms, beds, apartments, cottages or camping pitches, which suits properties that are not shaped like hotels. Thomas credited Runnr for publishing anything at all when most rivals would not; it now publishes more than most.

Quicktext
Quicktext's chatbot still converts direct bookings and still handles multilingual queries well. They've added WhatsApp and a new brand name. Neither fixes the integration problems I flagged previously.

Runnr.ai
Runnr.ai built their product around WhatsApp from day one instead of adding it later. The difference is visible in the API design, the message flow, and the integration quality. It's what I wished Quicktext had done.
