Akia pricing

How the pricing is structured
Basic
Quote only
Tier exists with a feature list and usage limits attached, but no price, no currency and no billing terms. Ends at talk to sales.
Pro
Quote only
Same again: the features are visible, the cost is not.
Max
Quote only
Top tier, also quote only. Every route out of the pricing page goes to sales or a demo booking.
Akia has stopped publishing the per-room rate our review recorded. The $5 per room per month figure is gone from the pricing page, replaced by three named tiers with their features intact and their prices removed. The tier structure is genuinely useful, so you can still work out what you would be buying. You just cannot work out what it costs, which for a tool whose appeal to smaller American properties rested on an affordable per-room price is a strange thing to take away.

Akia stopped publishing its per-room rate
Three tiers named Basic, Pro and Max, with feature lists and usage limits but no prices, no currency and no billing terms. Every tier ends at "Talk to sales" or "See demo".
- Our review had
- From $5 per room per month.
- Direction
- Less open
The $5 per room figure our review recorded is no longer anywhere on the pricing page. The tier structure is still visible, so you can see what you would be buying, but not what it costs. For a tool whose main pitch to smaller properties was an affordable per-room price, removing the price is a meaningful loss.
We open the vendor's own pricing page and record what it says. See every pricing change we've tracked.
Common questions
How much does Akia cost?
Pricing starts from $5 per room per month, billed in US dollars. There is no detailed public tier list beyond that, so you will need a sales conversation for a figure that reflects the modules and room count you actually want. For a European hotel the dollar billing also adds a bit of currency exposure to your operating costs.
Is Akia expensive for a small hotel?
The per-room rate looks modest at $5, but it is billed in dollars and it is only the entry point. For a small independent the more useful question is not the sticker price but the trade-off: you are paying a US company to host your guests' passport data on American servers. A European tool at a similar price keeps that data in the EU, which for a small hotel with no legal team is worth more than a euro or two per room.
Why is Akia priced in US dollars?
Because it is a San Francisco company built for the American market, and Europe is a secondary one. The dollar pricing, like the American default message templates, is a small reminder of who the product was designed for. It is not a dealbreaker on its own, but it adds currency risk you do not carry with a European vendor.
