How the pricing is structured

All-in-one subscription

From around €200/month at 30 rooms

One system covering the PMS, channel manager, booking engine, dynamic pricing and the upselling module, rather than separate subscriptions for each. That's roughly €2,400 a year for a property my size.

The pricing is clear enough, and it sits sensibly between Noovy at €150 a month for my thirty rooms and Mews at closer to €300. What I'd ask you to read properly is the contract, not the price. A colleague in Crete used it for eight months, decided to switch, and found leaving harder than she expected: back-and-forth emails, an auto-renewal she hadn't noticed, and a charge after she thought she'd cancelled. It took her most of a month to close the account. Another colleague in the Peloponnese was billed for a month he believed the notice period covered. I don't know whether that's typical. My mother would say read every line, and she'd be right. Ask how cancellation works before you sign, not after.

Common questions

How much does RoomRaccoon cost?

Around €200 a month for a thirty-room property, which works out near €2,400 a year. That covers the PMS, channel manager, booking engine, dynamic pricing and upselling in one system rather than as separate subscriptions, which is most of the appeal.

Is RoomRaccoon cheaper than Mews?

For a small property, yes. At my size RoomRaccoon runs about €200 a month against roughly €300 for Mews, and RoomRaccoon doesn't ask for a multi-year commitment the way Mews does on its upper tiers. Noovy undercuts both at €150 for thirty rooms, with a simpler product to match.

Does RoomRaccoon lock you into a contract?

The marketing says there's no long-term lock-in and that may be technically true, but two colleagues have described a harder exit than they expected, including an auto-renewal that wasn't noticed and a charge after cancellation. Whatever the terms say, ask specifically how cancellation and renewal work before you become a customer. These things are much easier to sort out beforehand.
